Abundia, Nov 7-9, is a weekend retreat for women of size that takes place annually. If you would like more information about our retreat or would like to sign up please visit the Abundia website .
We have an exciting announcement about the 2008 retreat. We are pleased to announce our guest speaker for this year's Abundia retreat weekend will be Marilyn Wann. For those of you that might not know her, she is a fat rights activist, author of the book, FAT?SO! and inventor of the Yay! scale. We are thrilled that she will be joining us this year. Our dates for this year's retreat will be November 7-9 and it will be at the same location, Illinois Beach Resort. The website (www.abundia.org ) is ready for you to sign up, and you get a $10 discount if you sign up by August 1. You will make your own hotel room reservation directly with the hotel. Rooms did get tight last year, so don't wait until the last minute to make those reservations.
